Day 1 - 24 May

George to Oudsthoorn - approximately 85km

Monday starts with a short tar ride from Fancourt to the base of the Montagu Pass. Once on the pass, it's beautiful gravel to the outskirts of Oudtshoorn. The Pass is an iconic part of the Tour de Braai's first stage and the ideal way to begin your three-day journey. Stop and enjoy the views, or race our resident pro to the top for bragging rights. The first braai of the Tour de Braai occurs just 20km into the day, at the idyllic Herold Wines setting.

Climbing for the day totals 960m.

Day 2 - 25 May

Oudtshoorn to Calitzdorp - approximately 85km

After a relaxing night in Oudtshoorn, the Tour heads towards the base of the Swartberg Mountains. The first 4okm of the stage is a brisk tar ride as we make our way to the first stop at Swartberg Country Manor. After the manor, participants will enjoy an incredible 45km ride towards Calitzdorp through Kruisrivier and then Groenfontein. Rolling hills, rapid descents and a fast final 20km make the second day fly by.

Climbing for the day is 1125m.

Day 3 - 26 May

Oudtshoorn to George - approximately 85km

After bussing back to Oudtshoorn from Calitzdorp, riders will spend the penultimate evening of the Tour de Braai around the braai fire, recounting stories of an excellent day 2. The final day's ride will then take riders from Oudtshoorn back to George, finishing where it all began - Fancourt.
